wedding, part two: portraits

portraits and other details:    
our first look took place in my (tae’s) parents’ backyard before the wedding, where we took photos together, with family and with our bridal party. following the ceremony, the portraits continued at the Albemarle mansion in Princeton, which was our reception location (as seen in the last five photos – more on the reception later!). my “something blue” in the first photo was a set of charms with our initials and wedding date, tied with blue ribbon. the flowers (mine as well as the bridesmaids’) consisted of tulips – my favorite! – and freesia which added a beautiful fragrance. our ring bowl pictured in the tenth photo comes from Paloma’s Nest, one of our absolute favorite vendors (also mentioned in this Christmas post). the bowl’s inscription is our wedding verse: “set me as a seal upon your heart” from Song of Solomon 8:6. next up, we’re heading to the chapel…
